Vic Borden was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He enlisted on active duty in the U.S. Navy following high school, just as the Vietnam War was ending. As a teenager and young adult, Victor Borden lived
a self-indulgent lifestyle. He first heard and listened to the saving message of Christ at age twenty. It was in
a U.S. Navy barracks, just outside of Washington, D.C., on May 25, 1977, that he turned from his sinful rebellion, and by faith, received Jesus Christ to be his personal Lord and Savior.
Shortly after coming to know Christ, Vic met Pam (as she was also on active duty in the U.S. Navy). They were married on April 15, 1978. God has blessed them with four children: Adam
and wife Rachel; Suzy and husband Wes Hurless (on active duty in the U.S. Air Force); Betsy and husband Chris Brennan; and Priscilla.
Mark Saylor, Director of Music Ministries
Mark Saylor has been the RBBC Director of Music Ministries for over twenty years.
His wife, Diana, is the church pianist.
Mark grew up in a Christian family in Kankakee, IL. Everyone in the
family either sang or played an instrument. After hearing strong biblical
preaching, and seeing a faithful Christian testimony in his parents, Mark
accepted Christ at the age of seven. He received a Bachelor of Music Education
Degree from Southwest Baptist University and a Master's Degree in Trombone
Performance from Wichita State University. Mark and Diana met in college and
were married in 1983. They are the parents of four children: Paul and wife
Lindsay; Benjamin; Stephen; and Sierra.
