Haitian
Herald
January 2012
Dear
Friends,
The children
have been
enjoying
their
Christmas
vacation. They
had a party
with a few
presents to
open on
Christmas
Day. A team
from Lone
Jack
Baptist Church
will be
with, HHH
Jan. 3-10,
and they
will
celebrate
with them
with more
presents.
Bill and
Jennifer's
Christmas
gift came in
the form of
a baby on
Christmas
Eve. A
grandfather
came to them
with a
22-day-old
girl Amy,
whose mother
died in
childbirth.
She was
barely four
pounds and
literally
starving. Bill,
Jennifer,
and Alina were
able to hold
the baby and
love on her.
Alina has
great
compassion
for these
littlest
ones, and
gets much
joy from
serving
them. Most
of all, they
were able to
provide the
much needed
baby formula
and warm
clothes,
blankets,
soap, etc.
They also
were able to
talk to the
grandfather
about this
gift that
God has
given him
and
challenge
him to take
care of her
with the
Campbell's
help, and to
offer this
baby as a
gift back to
God. The
grandfather
is a
Christian
and
understood
what they
were telling
him. The
baby also
has
pneumonia which
Jennifer was
able to
treat with
antibiotics.
Of
course, they
were very
torn about
not taking
the baby
into the
orphanage,
and might
still need
to do this
if the
grandfather does
not get help
from other
family
members.
Please pray
for baby Amy
and her
grandfather.
Jennifer is
still
feeling
better but
has had a
few days
where she
had some
side pain.
While back
in the
States when
she had her
medical
checkup, the
doctor found
several
cysts on her
ovaries. He
said they
may or may
not cause
her problems
and pain in
the
future. Bill
is amazed
the grace
God gives
Jennifer to
continue
serving in
Haiti with
all the
medical
issues with
which she
has had to
deal. She is
not daunted
one bit. The
Campbells truly
depend on
His new
mercies
every
morning.
Bill and
Jennifer
believe that
there is
power in
prayer
according to
the
scriptures,
and they
know that
your prayers
are what God
blesses
HHH with
more than
anything.
The very
best gift
you can give
to HHH
is to pray
faithfully
for the
Campbells
and the
children.
Will you
consider
praying for
them this
year? Thank
you to all
who
financially supported
HHH this
past year.
May the
ministry
continue to
be a
blessing to
you. It is
our prayer
that you
will be able
to come and
visit the
ministry
this year.
May the Lord
manifest all
that
Christmas
means, in
and through
your lives,
into the New
Year!
